Perfect case for my iPhone needs
I bought this the same day I bought my iPhone and couldn't wait for it to arrive. (I nestled my iPhone gently in a wrap of cotton and feathers until it got there. Just kidding.) Anyway, I don't normally like the cases for my gadgets that make the front inaccessible at all times but I really wanted the glass to have SOME protection other than a film (which I now feel is completely unnecessary since it really does NOT scratch.)

At first, the iPhone had a very snug fit in this case and even had to push the phone out from its bottom corners to get the thing out of the case. But after only a week or so, it slides in and out of the case perfectly. I've had it now and have used it exclusively since July 3rd,2007 and just love it. The phone is very easily removed when a call is coming in and I feel like it's nicely protected. It has soft quilt-like insides and nicely trimmed leather outsides.

The belt hook works fine though I've only used it a dozen or so times. It has a magnetic closure that actually I now just "flip" over to secure it to the front. It also will flip backwards and self-secure itself to the belt clip which is interesting and maybe even unintended in the design but a nice thing if you want to just keep it open while it's sitting on your desk or something.

I guess the corners may be a little unprotected, and I just now looked and realized I do have a tiny scratch on the back of one corner but I've had the phone for four months now. I don't expect it to be pristine and I don't want to have to take care of it like its a newborn baby either. I have dropped it on the cement garage floor at least twice.

Overall - five stars. I'm thinking of buying other colors.

looks good overall BUT clip broke just after 2 weeks
It looks good and it is functional. The belt clip start tearing off just after a couple of weeks. And that was with very normal use. I took very good care of it. I recomend to look for something different.
